Items for gift baskets
Gift baskets are a popular item at Country Fair! Here are some of the items we need (leave in the coat closet by Fri., Sept. 24).
• Baskets: sturdy medium & large size wicker baskets
• Household utensils that fit in a basket
• Cups - matching sets of 2, if possible
• Dish towels, potholders & cloth nap-kins
• Candles that fit in a basket
• Individual packets of hot chocolate, coffee & tea
• Candy, microwave popcorn, jerky sticks & single-serving bags of trail mix
• Small decorative notepads
• Wired ribbon for making bows
Gift basket assembly
If you have a knack for decorating, sign up to help with putting the gift baskets together on Saturday, Sept. 25 starting at 9:00 am in the gym. Check the Country Fair table in the Narthex for a signup sheet.
Make baked goods, candy and PIES
We need DOZENS of pies for the lunch counter and Homemade Goodies Booth. We need TONS of cookies and homemade candy, plus bars, breads, and other homemade treats. Please label what it is. (Please bring candy by 3 pm the day before so we can package it. If candy is packaged at home, please place 6 pieces per plate.)
