MEDORA - The BIG Little VACATION
JOIN US for a Three-Day, Two-Night Motor Coach Trip to the Famous Medora, North Dakota, for under $500.
Celebrate 60 years of the Medora Musical! A little history. A little humor. A whole lot of Western spirit. Experience the ultimate Country Western Music Revue in Medora, ND! This live outdoor spectacle showcases a variety of music favorites – from Dolly to disco.
It’s good old-fashioned family fun with thrilling variety acts, live horses on stage, a firework finale and new twists each summer. All while celebrating the history of Medora, Teddy Roosevelt, and the historic American West.
THREE-DAYS, TWO-NIGHTS.

BRIEF ITINERARY:
Day 1: Depart on Monday morning 8:30a, August 11, via the Scenic 1804 Drive from Glenham to Pollock to Bismarck. We will stop at a convenient location for lunch, perhaps Pizza Ranch (not provided). Evening at Medora, Teddy Roosevelt Show with Dinner provided. Lodging in Dickinson.
Day 2: Tuesday morning, continental breakfast, then leave at 8:30a to Roosevelt National Park South Loop Tour. Sack Lunch provided. Then enjoy a free afternoon to shop and tour Medora, or join other outdoor activities. Evening, Pitchfork Steak Fondue and the Medora Musical provided. Overnight stay at Dickinson.
Day 3: Wednesday morning, continental breakfast. Then at 9:00a we will head home via exit 72 heading south on the Enchanted Highway. Then a stop in Lemmon, SD for a lunch provided at the Petrified Wood Park and Museum. Possibly a quick visit with sculptor John Lopez who is creating the buffalo sculpture for Fort Pierre.
ESTIMATED TRAVEL COSTS: $400 each based on double occupancy

Additional Travel Schedule Details:
Monday lunch in Bismarck, ND at Pizza Ranch or similar location TBD. Not provided (cost is on your own).
Monday evening, 6:30pm. The Teddy Roosevelt Show with Buffet Dinner at the Town Square Showhall. Price with show and dinner is $66. There was limited seating so we had to make our reservation and pre-purchase the meal and tickets.
Tuesday:
Sack Lunch will be provided on the bus tour of the Roosevelt National Park.
Dinner is served from 5:15pm to 6:15pm. Pitchfork Steak fondue with buffet is $52 and Buffet only is $33. Again, we had to make a group reservation and pre-pay.
Medora Musical begins at 7:30pm at the Burning Hills Amphitheatre, doors open at 6:45pm. Prepaid fee was $71.
Wednesday:
Lunch in the Petrified Museum park, Lemmon, SD.
Lodging - Rooms are estimated at $130 per night x 2 nights (that would be $130 total per person in a double occupancy shared room for two nights). Motels: We have made the necessary group reservation for a block of motel rooms. We will need to reimburse Marlis and Rick Doud directly. More details to come as rooms are assigned.
Our bus drivers donate their time. Any remaining proceeds or tips will go to future mission trips.
Bus Travel - Included in the above total was a cost of $60 per person for travel. Note: We are licensed as a "Not For Hire" motor coach and therefore cannot put together a typical travel package for profit. This request is a reimbursement (suggested donation) for the bus travel costs. All other costs are on your own unless otherwise noted above.
