Hello Faith Family,
Tonight is a special night at Faith Lutheran Church. Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, a period of repentant preparation for the celebration of Easter. Tonight, the ashes will remind us of our sinfulness, our mortality, and that we are redeemed.
Please join us between 5:15 and 6:30 for a meal prepared with much love by our Board of Missions. They will be serving soups, buns and ham, and refrigerator desserts including caramel pumpkin and lemon blueberry cloud.
Then from 6:00 - 7:00 Midweek will meet in their classrooms and then join worship at 7:00.
Ash Wednesday worship begins at 7:00. Pastor Handschke's message will have the theme: Witnesses to Christ - John the Baptist"
